Construction Continues on Plantation Pointe Office Building

1700 Plantation Pointe is a new 4-Story Class A office building that anchors a re-imagined professional campus. The campus offers plaza spaces, outdoor recreation, and pedestrian connectivity. Designed by Wright Heerema Architects and constructed by Moss Construction, the new office building is scheduled to open in late-2020.

Crawford-Tracey Corporation, the largest contract glazier and unitized curtain wall manufacturer based in Florida was selected to supply and install their Pro-Tech 7SG pre-glazed, unitized, curtain wall system with laminated low-e glass, supplied by Viracon in Owatonna, MN. The Pro-Tech 7SG Curtain Wall system is approved for large-missile in Florida’s High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) region and provides a water-resistant rating of 100psf. Enviralum ENV 350 outswing doors were specified and installed by Crawford-Tracey as part of the complete glazing package.

The Plantation Pointe campus totals 77.5-acres and encompasses 850,000 square feet that was formerly the Motorola corporate campus. Torburn Partners, out of Chicago, IL, is the developer of the new 4-story office building.
