DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.  – Crawford-Tracey Corporation, a leading Florida-based glazing contractor specializing in unitized and pre-glazed curtain wall and window wall products, recently completed the glazing work on Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Center of Collaborative Research (CCR) building. CCR was designed by Fort Lauderdale-based ACAI Associates and the general contractor is Davie-based ANF Group. Crawford-Tracey’s Pro-Tech 7SG was specified and installed on this 215,000 square foot project. The building is seeking Silver LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The CCR building is on NSU’s main campus in Davie, FL and will be home of it’s first supercomputer, nicknamed Meglodon. There will be over 60,000 sq.ft. of wet labs with room for private biotech and life since companies to lease space.

“We worked closely with ACAI Architects to provide the window performance they needed for both the South Florida market as well as helping the project achieve sliver LEED certification. ” says Ray Crawford, President of Crawford-Tracey Corporation.
