Crawford-Tracey Corporation Completes Glazing Installation for Jupiter Medical Center

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -- Crawford-Tracey Corporation, a leading Florida-based glazing contractor specializing in unitized and pre-glazed curtain wall and window wall products, recently completed the installation of 10,000 square feet of its Pro-Tech curtain wall system for the Jupiter Medical Center.

The Haskell Company was the design-build contractor for the $44 million project that included renovation work and the addition of 75,000 square feet. Haskell selected Crawford-Tracey as the glazing contractor and curtain wall supplier. Crawford-Tracey’s Pro-Tech 9SG, 7SG and 45SG were used throughout the facade of the project, all approved for large-missile impact. The Pro-Tech series also has a water rating of 100psf - the industry standard is 12 to 15psf. Crawford-Tracey incorporated a compound mitered wall system and included custom interior blinds built into the Pro-Tech glazing system.

“This was our first project with Haskell” says Ray Crawford, President, Crawford-Tracey Corp. “In addition to meeting the large missile requirements and offering the highest water rating in the industry, we developed and provided a custom concealed blind system on the project.”

The Jupiter Medical Center three-story addition includes a new lobby, executive offices, outpatient functions, food service areas, 30 Ortho/Neuro patient rooms and a rehabilitation gym. The new facility is expected to be operational in January 2015.
