Broward College SW Center Project Completed Ahead of Schedule
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Crawford-Tracey Corporation, a leading Florida-based glazing contractor specializing in unitized and pre-glazed curtain wall and window wall products, recently completed the installation of 20,000 square feet of its Pro-Tech 7SG curtain wall system.
The design/build team of Perkins+Will and Kaufman Lynn completed the Broward College SW Center project in November 2014. Crawford-Tracey’s Pro-Tech 7SG was the glazing system of choice, offering large-missile protection, a water rating of 100psf and a system depth that aesthetically created a desired shadow box effect.
The project completed ahead of schedule. “Our project team work closely with Kaufman Lynn to assure our delivery and installation of the Pro-Tech 7SG went smoothly and on-time.” says Ray Crawford, President, Crawford-Tracey Corp. “Our unitized, pre-glazed curtain wall system allows us to provide the highest quality control, with the ability to enclose a building substantially quicker than a traditional stick constructed curtain wall system, which is critical in South Florida during the hurricane season.”
The Broward College SW Center, located in Miramar, FL is now open and operational providing additional classroom space for the college and third-party space for long-term lease.
