Habitat for Humanity or Greater Miami Wins Big at 2014 AIA Florida Annual Convention

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (July 30, 2014) – Architects raised $4,200 for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami at this year’s AIA Florida 2014 Annual Convention and Trade Show in Miami. The annual social responsibility raffle, sponsored by Crawford-Tracey Corporation and the Trump Organization, presented the local Habitat for Humanity with a check for $4,200.

The money was raised through a raffle for a trip to Scotland with accommodations at the Trump Turnberry Resort. The AIA FL program started in 2011, with the proceeds from the raffle going to the local Habitat for Humanity. Crawford-Tracey has been the corporate sponsor since its inception. Robert Filippi, Project Manger at Scherer Construction was the winner of this year’s raffle.

“We are extremely pleased with the amount of money we were able to raise for Habitat for Humanity with the raffle.” says Ray Crawford, President of Crawford-Tracey. “As the corporate sponsor for this annual raffle, we are proud to give back to the local community.”

The AIA Florida Convention was held at The Trump National Doral Resort in Miami, FL. The trade show portion of the convention was on July 18th. For information on next year’s convention, go to www.aiafla.org. For more information on Crawford-Tracey Corporation visit www.crawfordtracey.com.
